Hey! Im Emily Jo!

As a little kid, I took photos of anything and everything! I got further involved with photography in high school where I learned how to shoot on a film camera and develop my film in a dark room. That's where my passion came alive. I spent every waking moment I could in that dark room and I truly believe it's made me the photographer I am today. I had a teacher that invested in me and believed I could be something BIG one day (shoutout to teachers everywhere. Would not be who I am without you). I started my photography business 8 years ago and have been capturing families, babies, weddings, and couples ever since! My business is truly my pride and joy and it's an honor to wake up and do what I love every single day.
The reason I do what I do is by far, my family. My husband is a huge support to me and has always encouraged me to chase my dreams. He’s been there for me every step of the way. He's seen me through The good, the bad, and the ugly and I wouldn’t be where I am today without him by my side. In 2021 we welcomed our sweet baby girl into the world and she is the light of our lives. My biggest joy in life is being a mom and my daughter will always be the greatest accomplishment of my life. Being a working mama to my crazy little toddler has its challenges but I’m truly so thankful for this life! When I’m not taking photos or editing, you’ll find me chasing my girl around, crocheting, watching my newest reality tv obsession, or spending time with my hubby and australian labradoodles!
